My name is Jessica Cruz and I am currently in the graduating class of 2026 at Trinity College in Hartford, CT majoring in Educational Studies.
This portfolio presents my teaching experience including guest teaching, self-designed lesson outlines, reflections, and more.
This blog started from my coursework in Educational Studies 350: “Teaching and Learning”, for which I have guest-taught and designed lessons for a Grade 5 mathematics class at Expeditionary Learning Academy at Moylan School (ELAMS) in Spring 2023. To continue this project, I have recorded and reflected on three new workshops at the Trinity College Boys and Girls Club, designed and taught with my teaching partner, Marie Naka ’26, in a student-led course advised by Professor Jack Dougherty in Spring 2024.
